The Yucca Valley High School varsity volleyball team won Tuesday’s home CIF Southern Section Girls’ Volleyball Tournament, Division 7, non-conference match against Vista del Lago High School of Moreno Valley in three sets (25-19, 25-15 and 25-12). The big hitter last night was Riley Vallo with 10 kills. Zena Yackimow had nine kills. EJ Day had six service aces.
The Trojan girls move on to a playoff match versus Mark Keppel High School of Alhambra in Trojan gym at Yucca Valley High School tomorrow, at 6:00 p.m.
