YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY GIRLS TENNIS TEAM NARROWLY LOSES TO DESERT MIRAGE

The Yucca Valley High School Varsity girls tennis team traveled to Desert Mirage High School Wednesday (September 29). The teams tied 9-9 and moved to a tiebreaker where the Trojans narrowly lost 57-61. The Trojans travel away to play Coachella Valley Monday and a home game against Banning Wednesday.

According to Coach Cindy Miller, the Trojans only had 5 players and had to spot the other team 6 points.

In Singles: Abby Aubuchon 6-0, 6-1, 6-0; Lacy Tazvel 3-6, 6-1, 6-0; Ariella Gutheria 6-4.

In Doubles: Samantha Hall and Dakota Wade 6-0, 6-1, 6-0. So the score with the matches played was 9-3 Trojans
