The Yucca Valley High School Varsity girls tennis team played Indio High School yesterday (September 22). Despite a hard-fought game, the Trojans lost 6-12. The team is now 3-3 and in 4th place. The team will battle Desert Hot Springs Monday (September 27) at 3:15 p.m.
Game highlights: In Singles: Abby Aubuchon 6-2,6-2, 6-0; Lacy Tazel 6-0 and In doubles: Samantha Hall and Madison Dillon 6-1, 6-1. The team was short a doubles team. The girls played battled the whole match. Samantha Hall and Madison Dillon was down 0-4 in their first match to stage a comeback but came up short to lose 4-6.
