The Yucca Valley High School baseball teams travelled to Sultana High School in Hesperia Thursday afternoon. The Trojans were still riding some momentum from their last tournament and held Sultana to three runs. The Trojan bats were led by junior Tim Parker, who swatted a single and an RBI in the fifth inning. Senior Jared Hudson also hit a single in the fifth to score another run. He was followed by sophomore Desmond Delgado who doubled in another run. The Trojans went on to close the game in the seventh inning, with senior Colden McGarvie pitching, who sent the Sultans down in order. The Trojans won, 5-3. The Trojan junior varsity team lost, 9-0.
