The Yucca Valley High School theater company is rehearsing its next production, “Frank’s Life.” Reporter Rebecca Havely has the details…
“Frank’s Life,” by Mark Dunn, is a dark comedy about Frank, a man who discovers his entire life has actually been filmed as a soap opera. His family and friends are all actors in on the elaborate deception. When ratings drop, the actors dispute pay cuts from the network. Several die off in dramatic soap opera-like fashion as the truth starts to unfold. The play is directed by high school student, Madison Curtiss. The cast includes: Tyler Geeson, Nic Geogea, Katelynn Bergman, Madelynn Nimmo, Rachel Wuerth, Mariah Muchtar and Aimee Frank. “Frank’s Life” opens Wednesday, March 11 and runs nightly through Saturday, March 14. Performances are at 6 p.m. with one matinee performance Saturday, March 14 at 1 p.m.
Tickets for “Frank’s Life” can be purchased at the door of the multi-purpose room at Yucca Valley High School. The cost is $5 for adults, $4 for students; children 12 and under are free.
