The Yucca Valley High School girls’ varsity tennis lost to the Patriots 4-14 in a CIF wildcard playoff match yesterday. Coach Cindy Miller said, “Overall, it was a great season for the team. Katie Brattain, McKenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr will be going on in individuals later in November. Times and place will be announced November 13. Thanks for a great season team.”
In singles, Katie Brattain continued her undefeated season going 6-3, 6-1, 6-0. She is now 45-0. The other winner was Elizabeth Anderson 6-0.
In doubles, Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr almost beat their number two’s but came up short, 5-7. Jade Arnhold and Orion Ricketts had a close match too but also came up short 4-6 to their number two’s.
