The Yucca Valley High School girls’ varsity tennis team won their match against Desert Hot Springs yesterday, 14-4. Coach Cindy Miller said this was a great team win. The team is now 4-4 and is currently in third place.
In singles, Katie Brattain won 6-0, 6-0, 6-0; Dejia Valeur was 1-6, 4-6, 6-4; Elizabeth Anderson, 2-6, 6-2, 6-0. In doubles, Savannah Beasley and Kloee Scaccianoce were 6-3,6-2,6-1; April Bratcher and Mckenzi Monical were 6-1, 6-0, 6-2; Montana Rowe and Alyssa Synder were 6-1, 3-6; Alex Costa and Gisele Julian, 6-3.
