The inaugural Visual and Performing Arts Extravaganza was held Saturday at Yucca Valley High School. Students from the Jazz Band, concert choir, art department, Theatre, and symphonic band showed their talents in concert with the school Culinary Arts Program providing food and cold drinks. A small but appreciative crowd gathered in front of a temporary stage outside in the school’s Quad area for the event.
