YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMERS IN CIF COMPETITION

The Yucca Valley High School swim team traveled to Cathedral City High School where the team set or reset seven CIF consideration times. Coach Becca Pessa said “We have six seniors graduating and I am looking forward to my underclassmen stepping up next year.”

The Trojans CIF Consideration times:

The girls’ 200 yard medley relay of Skye Hansen, Ashley Amstutz, Kaylee Powell and Markina Evdokimoff with a time of 2:12.75.

Markina Evdokimoff swam the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:14.84.

Kaylee Powell swam the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:40.21.

Carl Manter achieved a time of 24.00 in the 50-yard freestyle.

Markina Evdokimoff swam the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.89.

Girls’ 400-yard free relay team of Markina Evdokimoff, Jordyn Koger, Skye Hanson, and Kaylee Powell with a time of 4:20.31.
