Yucca Valley High School Soccer scores from Indio games on Jan. 12

The Yucca Valley High School Boys Soccer team played Indio High School last night (January 12).

Junior Varsity played an away game at Indio and lost 6 to 0. Freshman Goalkeeper Tim Wahlberg had 13 saves. Coach Jorge Rordriguez named the  player of the game as MIdfielder John Perez for his effort, leadership and overall toughness. 

The Varsity team played at home and lost 6 to 1. Junior Goalkeeper Bruce Birch had 11 saves. The team’s one goal was scored by Freshman Striker Ben Carlton. Coach Rodriguez named the player of the game as Junior Defender Kayden Urita for his leadership and overall excellence on defense tonight.

The soccer teams will play next in a home game versus Twentynine Palms High School on Tuesday (January 17) at 5:30PM
