More than 100 student athletes, coaches, and parents of students attended the meet-and-greet event to be introduced to John Stewart, the new head football coach for Yucca Valley High School. During the event, Stewart’s long and successful history of football coaching, dating back to 2002, was discussed, as were his numerous athletic success stories over the past decade. Stewart stated that he expects great commitment from the team and will always do what is in the best interest of the players. Stewart will replace coach JD Thompson, who resigned in January for personal reasons.
