After a 10-day shutdown due to positive Covid tests, the Yucca Valley football team players were required to have negative tests to return to play. The Trojans returned on Monday and had four practices to prepare for a talented Cathedral City team. The Trojans lost to the Lions Friday night 29-0. Noah Morones went 12 for 22 passing for 80 yards. Tayten Shartel and Bo Platt led the team in tackles

“I’ve been telling these guys all week, that just getting on the field, padding up, and playing some football again under the Friday Night Lights, is a huge win. I am proud how they have dealt with the adversity, it shows the real character of this team.”  – Trojan Head Coach Jeremy Johnson
