The Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojans wrestlers did really well at the tournament at Adelanto High School this weekend. Coach Patrick Francis said Genesis Rialmo and Cheyenne Hallabrin took first place, Adelina Rialmo and Miah Weldon took second place, Dyoni Smith took third place, and Ryan Alexander took fourth place.
Francis said the whole team wrestled tough and are continuing to improve. “Next week will be busy for the whole team as we have our own tournament, ‘The Trojan War’ for JV boys and varsity girls next Saturday, January 11, at 9 a.m. They will have a dual meet Thursday, January 9 at Desert Mirage high school.”
