A junior on the Yucca Valley High School golf team has qualified to compete in the girls’ CIF Regional golf tournament Wednesday, October 24. Marissa Lindley scored 196—good for second place—during a two-day Desert Valley League girls’ final tournament last week at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning. Lindley, who beat out 28 other girls in the DVL finals—will be one of four girls competing in the CIF-Southern Section individual regional tournament Wednesday at Western Hills Golf Club in Chino Hills.
