The Yucca Valley High School golf team scored an impressive victory Friday over Palm Springs High School, 225-298.
The Trojans were led by freshman Josh Pierce, who carded a 40 over the nine-hole course. Sophomore Mason Palanuik carded a career-low score of 42. Playing in his first career match, Trevor Carpenter posted a career low score of 51. Rounding out the scoring for the Trojans were Marissa Lindley (48) and Luke Yakimow (44). The Trojans are now 14-1 on the season and remain undefeated, 6-1, in the Desert Valley League.
