In Yucca Valley High school Girls Soccer they won Win 3-1, Junior Varsity won 4-0
A message from the coach: “Another rainy day for girls soccer! The referees contemplated cancelling the JV game at half time due to the weather, but the girls were ready to play on. JV started the second half with a lead of 1/0. They continued to play the whole game in the rain, scoring 3 more goals in the second half. We were happy to see the skies clear just in time for the beginning of the Varsity game. Varsity had a close first half with a score of 1/1 going into the second half. We knew we needed to step it up to come out with a win. It is always nice to see the girls execute what we work on during practice and they did a great job of doing that today. In the second half, our defense held a strong defensive line playing the ball wide and to their targets, while offense followed through every shot to the finish. The result was 2 more goals which allowed us to bring home the win this evening. The team played very smart, great job ladies!”
