Z107.7 News has learned that Yucca Valley High School varsity football coach Andrew Amosa will be leaving. School sources, who asked not to be identified, said Amosa, who took the Trojans to a 7-3 season, 2-3 in DeAnza league, in 2017 has accepted the head coach position at A.B Miller High School, one of five high schools serving Fontana. The A.B. Miller position was highly sought after. In 2017, then-coach and former NFL player Shawn Moore took the Rebels to a disappointing 2-9 season, 0-8 in the Citrus Valley League. Information on when Amosa would be leaving was not available.
