The Yucca Valley Varsity Trojan Football Team hosted Morningside High School from Inglewood, and handily won, with a final score of 57-12.
The Trojans had 445 yards of offense, most of which were in the first half. The player of the game was Michael Ramos. who had six touchdown passes and 229 total passing yards in the game.
Offensively, touchdowns were scored by Stephon Rogers, Caden Beasley, Myles Harper.
Malachi Harper scored a rushing and receiving touchdown, and Javin Hudson caught three touchdown passes. Nick Cruz was seven for eight on point after attempts. Defensively, Paul Cole lead the team with 16 tackles. Mario Rabanales had an interception and returned it for 70 yards, and Javin Hudson had a tackle for a safety.
The Trojans will host Banning High School on Friday September 16, 2022.
JV Kickoff is at 4pm and Varsity kickoff is at 7pm.
