YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL CAREER PATHWAY FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNEY PLANNED

Team Sponsorships are $320, individual golfers are $80 with two divisions—championship and hackers. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be given for each division as well as raffles prizes. Registration includes green fees, golf cart, breakfast and lunch. The Golf Tournament benefits Career Pathways Foundation which has been helping students for more than 15 years. Yucca Valley High School teacher Jeff Drozd explains, “Doug Weller, Assistant Superintendent started the program. He had a vision that we would job shadow and intern students and give them scholarships for internships. So if students intern 200 hours they get $1,000 in scholarships.”
