The Yucca Valley High School boys’ soccer team played its first away game of the season at Cathedral City High School last night. Final score was a loss 3 to 0.
Player of the game was junior midfielder Logan Barth. Barth led the attack with multiple scoring chances.
Coach Jorge Rodriguez said, “We were scoreless at half time, but our team allowed three goals in the second half. They played hard and competed against a very experienced side but we could not score. Our guys battled until the last minute and we left it all on the field.”
The next game is Desert Hot Springs High School at home on Thursday at 4 p.m.
