The Yucca Valley High School Trojan boys basketball team traveled to Desert Mirage High School to take on the Rams on Tuesday (January 3).
Although things started slowly, the Trojans were able to win the game handily by a score of 90-38. The Trojans were led by Daniel Mills, who scored 27 pts including seven 3-pointers.
Jadon Pierce, (21), Javin Hudson (14), and Myles Harper (10) also had double figures.
Freshman Trae Scott, playing his first varsity game pitched in with 9 and Kade Yakimow played a solid game scoring 7 and rebounding well. The Trojans are now 7-7 overall and 4-1 in league play.
They will play their next game Thursday at home against Cathedral City.
