The Yucca Valley High School Boys Basketball teams played at Indio high school Thursday. Coach Ernesto Gamboa said Varsity lost 56-44.

“We were down by 13 at halftime and just couldn't keep up with the fast pace set by Indio. On a positive note we improved from the first meeting which we had lost by 26 points,” said Coach Matt Jennings.
JV won 50-40

Jehu Jimenez- 4 points, 6 assists
“The game was close until the 4th quarter when the Trojans pulled away from them with steals which led to them out scoring the Rajahs,” said Coach Jon Price.
Frosh won 45-42
Tua Kakalia- 13 points, 9 rebounds
Demar Smith- 13 points, 4 assists, 4 steals
Emmett Kelly- 5 points
The game was close the whole Trojans really shot well and stopped the Indio offense to pull out the close victory.
