Yucca Valley High School boys basketball played an away game at Desert Hot Springs. They came out with a close victory 64-62. Freshman Daniel Mills hit a three pointer to tie the game at 62 and senior Jehu Jimenez made two clutch free throws to seal the game at 64-62.

Yucca Valley High School girls basketball at Desert Hot Springs High School final Yucca Valley 75, Desert Hot Springs 19. Coach Jess Geeson says the win improves the girls record to 4-0 in Desert Valley League action. With a home game against Cathedral City Wednesday, May 19 on the schedule.
