The Yucca Valley High School baseball teams both got victories at Desert Mirage High School Friday afternoon. Senior Isaiah Kinder pitched a complete game win in the varsity game. The Trojans scored a couple of runs in each of the early innings with hits by brothers junior Dovian Delgado and freshman Desmond Delgado. Senior Jeremy Schoenborn hit a triple that brought in a couple more runs. In the fourth inning, the Trojans got things rolling by scoring seven runs as a result of singles by junior Jared Hudson, sophomore Tim Parker, freshman Anthony Gutierrez, sophomore Eric Hale, Kinder and Schoenborn. Tough pitching by Kinder shut down Desert Mirage the rest of the way. Final score 12-2. With that win the Trojans improve their league record to 3-2.
The junior varsity won their game 20-3.
