YUCCA VALLEY GRUBSTAKE DAYS PARADE WINNERS

The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the trophy winners for the 2016 Grubstake Days parade. First place in the band category was The Door Christian Fellowship; second place, Yucca Valley High School Trojan Band. First place in dance was the Heat Dance Team, followed by Genuine Spirit and Cheer Dance troupe. First place in the youth category was Girl Scout Troops 808 and 804; second place went to the Yucca Valley Youth Commission. Gunfighters for Hire won first place in the float category; second place went to the Star Twirlers Square Dance club. In the novelty category, 2 Guys Pies won first place, followed by Elite Cosmetology School in second place. In the motorized division, Cool Daddy-O’s Ice Cream and Grill won first place, followed by the Morongo Basin Car Club Roadrunners. And finally, in the equine division, first place went to Lesnick Brothers Studios, followed by Laughing Horse Ranch Sanctuary of Pioneertown.
