The seventh annual gourd festival is coming to Yucca Valley on Saturday, November 21, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 22,, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event will take place at the Yucca Valley Community Center and will include a gourd art show, with categories like “Best in Theme: Holiday Magic,” “Spirit of the West,” and “Spirit of America.” Vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice award. Judges will also choose winners in each category and “Best in Show.” Free kids and adult gourd art classes will be offered at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum on Saturday. Sunday adult classes will also be offered.
