The Yucca Valley High School golf team defeated Coachella Valley High School Tuesday, by the score of 217-247. The Yucca Valley golf team is now 5-0 on the season and 1-0 in Desert Valley League play. Coach Jeff Evans said low scores for the match were turned in by sophomore Gauge Kime (40), freshman Josh Pierce (42), and sophomore Luke Yakimow (43). The Yucca Valley golf team travels to Banning High School for a match at Sun Lakes Golf Course Thursday.
