The Yucca Valley High School golf team shot a team score of 223 today to defeat Rancho Mirage High School.
Coach Jeff Evans said the Trojans were led by Gauge Kime (41) and Josh Pierce (43). The Trojans extended their consecutive win streak to 16 matches and won their 21st match of the season.
Evans said, “Posting a team score in the 220’s at the Westin Mission Hills Gary Player Course is a great achievement. It’s nice watching our players play well on road courses, especially when they see the course for the very first time.”
