The Yucca Valley High School golf team had an outstanding performance at Hawks Landing Tuesday, defeating cross-Basin rivals Twentynine Palms High School by a score of 212-243.
Coach Jeff Evans said low scores for the day were carded by Gauge Kime(39), Luke Yakimow(40), Larry Tyerman(42), and Josh Pierce(43). Also posting a season low score of 48 was Mason Palanuik.
The Yucca Valley golf team is now 12-1 overall and 5-0 in Desert Valley League play.
