Yucca Valley High School girls’ soccer lost to Desert Mirage 3-2. Coach Joele Pessa said the girls played a very well-executed game tonight, but fell short by one point which was unfortunate.

Pessa said, “In all, the team played well together, worked hard and the girls are becoming stronger with each day. The dedication and hard work I see from these girls leaves me with nothing but optimism for our next game.”

In the midfield, Loryn Brimhall was on point all night, supporting defense and at the same time ready to attack on goal.

Goals were scored by Rylee Nutter and Loryn Brimhall, with assists by Haley McGinness and Rylee Nutter .
