YUCCA VALLEY FOOTBALL SHUTS OUT CATHEDRAL CITY

The Yucca Valley High School Trojans football team secured its first shutout of the season, beating Cathedral City, 27-0. Head Coach John Stewart said Ushon Goodsod led the scoring for the Trojans with two scores and over 100 rushing yards on the night. Tayten Shartel added over 170 yards on the ground and a receiving touchdown. The final score was a quarterback sneak by Braden Brimhall. Stewart said outstanding performances were turned in by all the Trojan defenders.
