YUCCA VALLEY FOOTBALL PLAYER HURT FRIDAY RECOVERING AT HOME

A Yucca Valley High School football player was injured during the school’s homecoming game against Desert Hot Springs Friday night. During the third quarter, offensive lineman Chris Worrell suffered an injury and was fitted with a neck brace before being taken off the field. He was flown to Loma Linda Medical Center, but is reportedly home now. During halftime, seniors Jared Lindley and Nikole Cody were named Yucca Valley High School’s Homecoming King and Queen.
