YUCCA VALLEY FOOTBALL LOSES PRESEASON GAME TO CHAFFEY

The Yucca Valley High School Trojan football team lost a hard-fought game against Chaffey, 50-21. Coach John Stewart said, “Not once did the boys give up against the much bigger school; Chaffey has over 3,200 students.” Stewart said the Trojans moved the ball all night long with stellar performances.

Yucca Valley Trojan standouts were Braden Brimhall, 12-20 for 200+ yards, two touchdowns, and an interception; Tayten Shartel, with 25 carries for 150+ yards and a touchdown; and Warren Higgins, who had four catches for about 100 yards and two touchdowns.
