Mark your calendar for the return of the Festival of Lights Parade, set for Saturday December 9. The beloved annual event, sponsored by Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary and the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce, features organizations and community members parading their dazzling displays of lights through the streets of Yucca Valley.
Participation is open to organizations and individuals who want to let their light shine for all to see. Entry forms are available at Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce or Sunset Rotary. Prizes will be given to entries for “Most Spirit”, “Humorous”, and “Best Lights”. For more information call Sue at (760) 898-1047.
Wear your warm clothing, bring your chairs, and set up to view the parade starting at 5:30 on Santa Fe Trail between Deer and Inca Trails. There will be toys for the children, hot chocolate and, of course, Santa Claus himself will be there.
