A Yucca Valley man who was arrested on a felony warrant was also arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies went to a home in the 58700 block of Barron Drive in Yucca Valley just after midnight on Monday morning to arrest David Beavers, 25, on a $100,000 warrant for possessing and transporting a controlled substance. During the arrest, the deputy searched Beavers’ backpack and found a butterfly knife. David Beavers was arrested on his warrant and for possession of a dangerous weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held on his warrant.
