YUCCA VALLEY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT MIRRORS PRIOR ARREST

In an incident that is nearly identical to a similar call two months ago, a Yucca Valley man was arrested on multiple warrants following a call of suspected domestic violence. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 57400 block of Lupine Avenue about 12:30 a.m. after a woman said her boyfriend, Bryce Cooper, 21, hit her and pushed her to the ground. He then held a knife to his throat and threatened to kill himself. Cooper was gone when deputies arrived, but returned later. Bryce Cooper was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, and on four warrants for multiple charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $125,000. On February 23, deputies went to the same location and arrested Cooper for domestic violence and the same four arrest warrants.
