Yucca Valley Dollar General assault results in arrest and citation

One arrest was made after a person was punched in the face in a Yucca Valley Dollar General.

On Sunday (October 13) at 10:30 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a battery made by employees at the Dollar General at 55556 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley. When they arrived, deputies reported that a customer in the store was punched in the face. The victim was not seriously injured and declined medical treatment.

The customer identified the suspect to deputies as Morris Strickland, 59, who was arrested, given a citation and released at the scene.
