A Yucca Valley couple was arrested in Yucca Valley following a traffic stop. About 3 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy stopped a vehicle near Avalon Avenue and Sunnyslope Drive for having an expired registration. The driver, Blair Foster, 40, was found to be in possession of a “moderate” amount of suspected methamphetamine. A can of pepper spray was found in the possession of the passenger, Kaitlyn Murphy, 30. As a convicted felon, Murphy is prohibited from possessing the spray. Blair Foster was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000. Kaitlyn Murphy was cited and released.
