A Yucca Valley couple was arrested Monday after they allegedly tried to steal from Walmart. Just before 4 p.m., Todd Megna, 48, and Heather Kearns, 34, went to the Yucca Valley Walmart in the 58500 block of 29 Palms Highway. While Kearns waited in the car, Megna went into the store and allegedly walked out of the store with about $29 worth of items without paying for them. He then gave the items to Kearns, who went in to return them. Todd Megna and Heather Kearns were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $25,000 each.
