After receiving a request to purchase a town flag, the Town of Yucca Valley realized it had no policy in place for buying and flying such a flag. A flag policy is just one item of many on tonight’s agenda of the Yucca Valley Town Council. The council will also discuss how to allocate $50,000 in
Measure Y funds to various organizations. Next is an authorization of $50,000 to the Desert Regional Tourism Agency for marketing efforts. And finally, the council will discuss buying a 10-acre parcel for $120,000 on Fairway Drive that would provide residents access to North Park. Tonight’s
meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
