The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce is taking entries for the 66th Grubstake Days parade May 28. It will begin at 10 a.m. at Inca Trail and will travel east on Highway 62 to Sage Avenue. This year’s grand marshall is Joshua Tree National Park, and the theme is “Adventures in the Desert.” Attendees will enjoy a variety of fun floats, exciting equestrian groups, bands, dance and musical displays for your entertainment, classic vehicles and much more. Z107.7’s Gary Daigneault will be announcing the parade in front of the California Welcome Center. Trophies, for parade entries in competitive categories, will be presented at 2 p.m. at the California Welcome Center.
