YUCCA VALLEY CAREER CRIMINAL ARREST

A Yucca Valley man who fled when he saw a Sheriff’s deputy was later arrested for possession of narcotics. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 1 p.m Wednesday, the deputy saw a vehicle with an expired registration tag, parked near the intersection of Sunnyslope Drive and Sage Avenue. A man, later identified as Adam Webster, 24, who is deemed a “career criminal” and who is on parole, was leaning through the car’s passenger window. When Webster saw the deputy he started running southbound in the desert and then east through the BMX park. Webster was eventually detained, and arrested for investigation of possession of narcotics. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail on no-hold warrants.
