YUCCA VALLEY BUS STOP UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Morongo Basin Transit Authority broke ground Monday to improve and expand one of its high traffic stops. The improvements will be made to the high profile bus stop located at Highway 62 and Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley. The improvements include an additional 130 feet of sidewalk, a bus turnout for up to three busses, two bus shelters and ADA improvements. The current bus stop will be closed during construction; the new bus stop is expected to be completed by the last week of April.
