The Yucca Valley High School boys’ soccer played an away game at Indio High School Tuesday. Indio won 3-0.
Coach Jorge Rodriguez said “We give our opponents credit for playing us tough today. We played with lots of intensity and they matched us.”
Players of the game are junior captain Landon Gradilla and junior midfielder Logan Barth. Rodriguez said “Gradilla’s leadership and skill is what we all strive to achieve as a team. Barth also played very well. Logan’s never-quit attitude and his positive outlook always lifts our team spirit. Our entire team has been improving every game. We only have 3 games left this season, so we want to finish strong.”
The next game is Thursday at Coachella Valley High School.
