The Yucca Valley High School boys’ basketball teams hosted Xavier Prep Monday night. Varsity lost 48-76.
Luke Yakimow scored 10 points and four rebounds. Noah Roy made eight points with six rebounds. Jehu Jimenez scored eight and with five assists.
The junior varsity team also lost, 58-53. Cooper Hopton scored 17 points with three steals. Marcos Jimenez made 10 points and four rebounds. Demar Smith had eight points and Tua Kakalia scored seven points and seven rebounds.
In the frosh/soph game, the Trojans lost 70-19. Riley Ferrick scored seven points and 10 rebounds. Landon Stitt made four points, and Rider VanHulten had four points and seven rebounds.
