In high school sports, The Yucca Valley High School boys’ basketball team went to Indio for its second league match Thursday (May 6). Coach Matt Jennings said the Trojans had been trailing most of the game until freshman Daniel Mills hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 55. Indio hit a 2-pointer and Yucca Valley lost in the last few seconds of the game, 57-55.
The Trojans host Twentynine Palms next Wednesday, May 12, in Trojan Gym.
