The Boy Scouts of Yucca Valley are recruiting boys to join their troop. The Boy Scouts hike, camp, and participate in community events such as marching in parades and placing flags on graves for Veterans’ Day and Memorial Day. Boy Scouting prepares boys for everyday life challenges and leadership roles. Boys between age 11 and 18 are encouraged to attend meetings on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge, 55946 Yucca Trail.
