The Yucca Valley Trojans baseball team got back into the win column Monday with a 4-0 shutout against the DHS Golden Eagles.

Coach Josh Griswold said Senior Brandon Goodpastor was incredible on the mound, shutting out the Eagles over six innings while striking out 10 batters. Junior Jesse Meza, senior Andy Davis, and sophomore Noah Morones all drove in runs and junior Braden Brimhall had a solid day at the plate while throwing out a base runner in the bottom of the seventh.

The Trojans will play the Eagles again at Trojans Field on Thursday at 3:15.
