Yucca Valley attempted kidnapping ends with arrest of suspect in Brehm Park

A Yucca Valley man wanted for suspicion of attempted kidnapping was located in Brehm Park on Monday (December 26). At around 4:30 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded an incident in the 56700 block of Little League Drive.

Deputies report that a man and woman were having an argument in their home, and when the woman attempted to leave, the man used a handgun to coerce her into his car.

By the time deputies arrived, the man – identified as Angel Luna-Godoy, a 31 year-old resident of Yucca Valley, had fled the scene.

Deputies day Luna-Godoy was located later at Brehm Park, and taken into custody. Luna Godoy was arrested for suspicion of attempted kidnapping and multiple warrants and booked at Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $375,000.
