Yucca Valley’s popular summer concert series will kick off with a 4th of July concert and fireworks event at Brehm Park, featuring a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band, Fortunate Son. The next concert will be July 14 at the Yucca Valley Community Center ballfield, with the band New Sensations, who will play dance music. A Beatles tribute band, Paperback Writer, follows on July 21; the reggae band Upstream will play July 28; the popular classic rock band The Answer follows on August 4; and an Abba tribute band, AbbaFab will close out the concert series on August 11. The 4th of July concert starts at 6:30 with fireworks at 9 p.m.; the remaining concerts at the ballfield start at 7 p.m. Gates open for all concerts one-half hour before the show.
